SUPREME REGIONAL RULES

ABOUT
SUPREME IS A NEW DANCE COMPETITION BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE PEOPLE THAT CREATED GTB.

SUPREME DANCERS WILL BE REWARDED FOR EVERY ACT AS WELL AS PLACING 1ST-3RD IN EACH SECTION. DANCERS CAN NOMINATE ONE ACT TO BE THEIR “CONTENDER” ROUTINE WHICH WILL BE JUDGED SEPARATELY AS THE COMPETITION CONTINUES.

BAMBINOS (4-5) CHERUBS (6-7) PETITES (8-9) YOUNGSTERS (10-11) TWEENS (12-13) TEENS (14-15) VETERANS (16-17)

*note age groups are every 2 years

 

STYLES AVAILABLE
JAZZ, LYRICAL, CONTEMPORARY, HIP HOP, MUSICAL THEATRE/BROADWAY JAZZ, OWN CHOREOGRAPHY, SONG AND DANCE, ACRO, TAP, OPEN (You can do any style in this section), BALLET (Singapore Only)

LEVELS AVAILABLE

ELITE - PLACED 1ST-5TH AT GTB OR ANY COMPETITION WITHIN 18 MONTHS OF EVENT

INTERMEDIATE - HAVE NOT PLACED 1ST-5TH IN ANY COMPETITION IN LAST 18 MONTHS

The levels apply to the specific style you are competing with, eg if you placed 1st-5th in Ballet, but did not place with your Contemporary - you must compete in Elite with your Ballet, and Intermediate with your Contemporary. If you are new to dancing and you still placed - then you still must compete in Elite. 

An exception is if the section you placed 1st-5th in only had 5 competitors or ALL dancers in your section placed, please contact If this applies to you - we will refer to scores or your teacher for final decision.

 

SUPREME TITLE CONTENDER
DANCERS MAY NOMINATE ANY ROUTINE FROM THEIR ENTRIES TO BE JUDGED AS A TITLE CONTENDER ROUTINE, THIS IS NOT AN ADDITIONAL SECTION. THE NOMINATED ROUTINE WILL BE JUDGED WITHIN ITS OWN SECTION PLUS A SEPARATE SHEET FOR TITLE SCORING.

NEW IN 2024 - DANCERS MAY NOMINATE MORE THAN ONE ROUTINE AS A TITLE ROUTINE

EACH ACT (REGIONALS) WILL BE AWARDED: 

SUPREME (80-85)

GRAND SUPREME (86-90)

ULTIMATE SUPREME (91-95)

XTREME SUPREME (96+)

 

AWARDS
1ST PLACE - HUGE CUSTOM PLATE WITH STAND, 2ND/3RD - GIANT CUSTOM MEDAL, NON-PLACE - CUSTOM MEDAL

THERE WILL BE SPECIAL AWARDS FOR HIGHER ACHIEVING DANCERS AS WELL.

AGE GROUPS: 6/U, 8/U, 10/U, 12/U, 15/U, OPEN

ENTRY FEES: $30SGD per group act, $30SGD per competitors pass (each dancer in your competing in group sections requires a competitor pass)

ALL INCLUSIVE REGIONAL ENTRY FEES PER SOLO WHICH INCLUDES REGO PASS, DIGITAL PROGRAM, FREE VIEWING FOR ALL FAMILY MEMBERS (AUST ONLY – SMALL DOOR CHARGE OVERSEAS TO NEGATE TRAVEL COSTS), PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE, ETC
SUPREME TITLE CONTENDER – NOMINATE ONE (1) ACT FOR AN ADDITIONAL $25 – THIS ACT WILL BE GENERALLY ADJUDICATED IN ITS OWN SECTION AS WELL AS IN THE RUNNING FOR SUPREME TITLE.

 

ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Enter the age group based on your date of birth and the age cut of START DATE OF EACH EVENT – eg if 10 on this date you will be in Youngsters (10-11). It is the age you are on the date the event starts at each event.

2. If wanting to enter the Title Contender, you will need to select the $25 extra payment and then note what style the judge will be judging for the Contender in the text area below. This may be changed later, but not after the program is finalised.

3. Everything is including in your entry below – Registration, Viewing (except overseas events due to travel costs), Digital Program, Public Liability Insurance, etc

4. Title Contender may be entered on the day at the event – but at an additional cost.

5. Music will be uploaded by you closer to the event date – you will be notified, No CDs accepted at Supreme.
